The Birds of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan by Ian J. Andrews

This book was published in March 1995 and remains the only comprehensive summary of the status and distribution of all 374 bird species record in Jordan up until the end of 1994. It contains:

The Jordan Bird Report 1995-97 by Ian J. Andrews, Fares Khoury and Hadoram Shirihai

This 26-page report provides an update to the birds of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. It lists all accepted records of rare birds, and describes many significant changes in status and distribution that have been discovered.

It was published in Sandgrouse Volume 21(1) in June 1999.
